NY Dragons Add Sean Wachter and Marilynne Rich to Management Team

Uniondale, NY, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 – The New York Dragons have announced the hiring of Sean Wachter and Marilynne Rich to their management team as Director of Operations and
Director of Business Development, respectively.

For Sean Wachter, the New York Dragons have always been more than just a football team—
they’ve been a part of his life since childhood. Sean Wachter’s journey with the Dragons began
in 2008 when he had a brief stint with the team during preseason before continuing his
professional football career with the New Jersey Revolution of the Continental Indoor Football
League (CIFL). Upon the hiring, Wachter stated “Growing up as a season ticket holder, getting
the chance to be a part of the team as a player, and now serving as the Director of Operations—
it’s truly a dream come true. The New York Dragons are back, and I couldn’t be more excited to
help bring arena football back to the fans who have been waiting for this moment.”

Marilynne Rich’s first job was in sports marketing, where her passion has always been the
strongest. In the past, she has worked with teams like the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore
Ravens and is now very excited for the opportunity to work with the Dragons. Rich said, “I knew
the return of the NY Dragons was the perfect opportunity to reignite my passion for sports! I’m thrilled to be a part of this amazing comeback and being part of the NY Dragons team!”

Dragons General Manager Peter Schwartz said, “I’m excited to add both Sean and Marilynne to
the New York Dragons front office. They both bring a wealth of sports management, marketing,
and sales experience to our organization and I look forward to working with them to build the
Dragons into an elite arena football franchise.”
